The design is subjective. I personally like the looks of the C922.

Mate it’s like you’re reading my mind. My old 920 seems to be giving me soft images when I load my vids to YT and I was wondering if there was an upgrade and lo and behold your video appears. I’m trying to update my screenflow export settings, lighting etc but I still cant seem to get Justin Brown levels of output and quality 🙂 Will check this camera out. Cheers Ed

It’s funny. I watched the first part of the video without sound and I was like dude mark from car audio fabrication has another YouTube channel. Then I turned the sound on and I realized that it wasn’t him. You guys could be brothers.

Jacob Christian Glover says:

Awesome, awesome, awesome review! I really enjoy this channel, thanks Justin. Be well, stay encouraged, and keep Encouraging!

cambodia CNL says:

I like you channel so much.

Professor Nez says:

Great idea! Great video Justin as always. I am not sure I need a 4K webcam, I have been pretty happy with my C920 and 1080 is really all I need for what I do. What do you think?

Rod Munch says:

The Brio looks terrible in the included sample video, it looks washed out and way too soft yet it also looks almost like it’s doing some sort of edge enhancement at the same time. Are you cropping the Brio to match the size of the 922x and then using some filters on it something? Everything you’re saying about the Brio doesn’t match what is being seen in this video. I’m guessing it’s an issue with video since I trust you know what you’re talking about.

stephan verbeeck says:

Why are you so POSITIVE about the video quality. In the examples you show (I have a 4K monitor to look at it) your face is a total BLUR. How can you say for 1 second that this look like being filmed with a real camera. I do not understand why you are telling stuff while demonstrating that it is NOT true. Or is your judgment of video that poor?

Get Revved says:

When comparing against the C922, even though the C922 looked darker, it also seemed to have a lot more detail in the image. The Brio image seemed really lacking in detail to me.

Pushpa satheesh says:

can you suggest microphone for iphone 7

RowlWool says:

Can you record in a constant frame rate and not a variable frame rate? I want a 1080p camera at 60 fps, but I do not want to come across audio sync issues. I don’t want to have to put it in handbrake to get a constant frame rate.

Techobia says:

Hey Justin, If you have some time to check can you please check and confirm that in your Windows Camera App are you able to see Ultra HD resolution mode 4096 one in your video settings. Thanks

Bible Flock Box says:

I use the Logitech Brio 4K to record my YouTube videos. I don’t use their software, though. I record it in OBS Studio. The quality is much better. Overall, it’s a pretty good web cam. Even for recording YouTube videos. One thing that you need to know, though, is that if you don’t have a lot of light then the exposure will be fidgity.

Herman Drost says:

can you blur the background on any of these webcams?

Raptorman0909 says:

If I didn’t know which model was which I’d pick the Brio as the worst — argh!

Ancient Wings says:

I noticed using Quicktime, the difference between the 922 and the Brio were subtle. Using Ecamm live however, the Brio offers a much better resolution – really happy with the upgrade. I’m using a Mac by the way!

Bill Calhoun says:

Justin, you NAILED this video…you always do. I’m floored by your ability to break down ALL the elements we need to know in order to make an informed buy. Thanks!

Beanie Draws says:

I’ve filmed all my videos (except my first two) on the C920 and it’s served me very well. It is annoying that it will go out of focus, while in MANUAL focus mode, and before I had access to a proper microphone, the on board microphone is horrible. It picks up the sound of the shutter, or it pics up some sort of electrical noise constantly, and whenever the lens goes out of focus in manual mode, you can HEAR the lens refocusing (watch some of my early videos and you can hear it)
The software was pretty average too. Good for quick adjusting of picture, but the preview when recording was too tiny. I’ll have to see how the new software goes.

What’s the focus range like? Does it do good macro/close up? The way it mounts to a tripod now actually looks a little “meh”. I like the ability to finely tweak the pivot of the camera without having to move the whole tripod or other mounting system.

If I can convince Logitech to hook me up with one, I’m thing of doing an illustrator’s review of it. the C920 has worked out well for me despite it’s pitfalls.

N0Comply says:

Thanks for the video mate
