Already have my MSI X99S Gaming 7 motherboard and OMG it looks amazing. Have to pair it with the MSI 980 graphics card to boost into the highest realm of gaming! And with the MASSIVE amount of RAM this motherboard can hold it will be a fun ride.

I have a intel core i7 3820, it takes a lga2011 socket. So i was told the x99 would work…..it doesnt. Can anyone find a motherboard that takes ddr4 and a regular lga2011 socket NON x99. Thats all i see looking for one.

It really isn’t that expensive to build an X99 setup as long as you choose a 6 core CPU. I built my system for under $1,000 dollars. Now though with many upgrades I am at 1,400. Still not bad. I have seen systems with Z boards costing a lot more. Some day I will spend the cash and get the 6950X for my MB.
