5:22 Keys is explaining the motherboard to a girl on first date.

Robert Kowalke says:

Looking below at the comments I notice alot fo R&R professionals and that limited knowledge about sums up the entire comments section. Way too many people recommending stuff with no idea why just a few number crunching sessions and they know it all…lol.

Hint 1…If you are encoding video you should damn well not be using a gaming video card! Any halfwit with an ounce of I.Q would know this. The cards made for this are in the thousands not the hundreds where the elite tards game their lives away at 120 fps when 60 is lighyears past what’s needed for the human eye.

Gabriel Couto says:

My Z170 board has gone to RMA and theyve returned me a Z270 board. I’m on skylake… will Optane work? Does it worth upgrading my 6700k to 7700k?
I overclock a bit 4.6Ghz now, probably would do the same on kaby.

Why can’t people just say yes it is worth it, or no it isn’t, without all of the garbage in between?

License to Chill says:

Motherboards give me a headache. I just bought a MSI Z270 Sli Pro series. Going to have a i5 7600k and GTX 1060 with it. That’s good enough for me. If anyone is building a PC here’s my advice – Do your research on motherboards. Some features are totally pointless – like RGB lighting. Like it’s just for look.

gg z270 useless

Sachin Nair says:

I’m building a $1000 pc for a friend, mainly for editing and rendering, here is my build right now.

CPU: i7-7700k ($300 Micro Center)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 ($35)
GPU: RX 480 8gb ($150 w/ rebate)
Mobo: MSI Z270 ($110)
RAM: 16gb (2×8) GSKILL DDR4 2666 ($100)
PSU: EVGA SuperNova 650W ($75)
Case: NZXT S340 ($65)
Storage: 1TB Seagate ($50)
256GB Sandisk SSD($75)

The total is currently at $960. Is there any thing I should upgrade/downgrade? If i should downgrade something (i.e. Z270 to Z170) please tell me why. My friend isn’t planning to do much gaming, but I threw in an rx 480 just in case, which should be plenty to get 60+ fps on most games

The camera picture being unfocused everywhere other than the host is super distracting

Vaskedama says:

you didn’t include any performance benchmark results from using a 7700k on a z170 vs a z270 ? I wanted to know this since I just got a 7700k kabylake.

PinkasBrown44 says:
