So now ik why i cant run my Corsair Vengeance LPX @3000MHz… But anyway i took a blind purchase of this corsair LPX 3000MHz 16GB with 4 dimm sticks not 2 but 4. LMAO and im here wondering why the flying flinch wont get stuck at 3000MHz but luckily my Gigabyte Board gaming 5 AX370X Can get it to 2666MHz which is decent and better then 2400MHz. So im HAPPY, I guess it could’ve been worst… My Ryzen 1600X is still a beast @4.0GHz..

Juho Petrell says:

How about 4x4Gb Corsair LPX 2666mhz memory on Asus PRIME X370-PRO? Will it work on Dual Channel at its rated speed?

SilentWolfYT says:

mines getting suppoted in my mtb but stll i cant install win 10 and get alot of differebt bsods

I just built my first gaming pc to play rainbow six siege specifically.

I have the gigabyte ab350 gaming mother board with a Ryzen 5 1600 OC @ 3.8 and gtx 1070. I have the x2 sticks of corsair vengeance 8gb 3000mhz and I’m having a hell of a time optimizing my build to run siege at decent fps. Even 1080p I can’t get consistent fps it’s in 70’s and jumps all over the place. Is there anything I can do to up my fps with my build?

I’ve updated latest chipset driver, nvidia drivers and even updated my f5 bios to latest version. Windows and nvidia control panel have been optimized for best fps but still no luck.

I have a RYZEN 5 1600x with Corsair Ram sticks, the computer loads up but my games are crashing. Could the RAM be the problem?

rio loebis says:

its been a month now can you use the 3000mhz ram now

vernonasian says:

Please help!!! I bought a ryzen 1700x. I am deciding between RAM kits right now. I want to maximize the most of my overclocking 😀 Price is not an issue. I use lots of photoshop, video rendering and don’t game that much. My options are:

G.Skill – Flare X 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
G.Skill – Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (AMD certified out of the box 3200 speeds)
G.Skill – Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (Requires tweaking I think)

I want to know if the capacity is more important than the speeds or vice versa? Thank you!

If I game on 1440p 144hz with 1080ti + Ryzen 1700, would going from 2400mhz to 3200mhz RAM make much of a difference?

turgsh01 says:

This is the ram I’m using for my Ryzen 5 1600x and Asus Prime b350-Plus with up-to-date bios:
Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
16-17-17-17-35 1.35V DOCP2933
I’m hoping they’ll support the full 3200 soon, but for now, it works great at 2933MHz. Maybe it already supports the full 3200 and I just haven’t found the sweet spot in timings, but I’m in no rush to find it, so I’ll just wait. This particular ram may not be in the QVL right now, but I can assure you that it’s very stable and will likely be in the QVL soon.

Teofilus says:

Hi, can you help me please ?

Motherboard : GA-Ab350-Gaming 3.
Processor : Ryzen 7 1700
RAM : Geil Evo X
Everytime i turn on my computer, my screen is blank (no signal), what is wrong with this build ?
please help me

pollotuerto says:

Hopefuly someone can help me out. Ryzen build 16gig ram @2400..task manager shows 1200, also cpuz, Ive read that its because ddr means doble data rate… but before I had ddr3 and it showed the full 1333mhz.. it there a way to test it for real.? . xmp is enabled.

Pariz Rdz says:

do you recommend me the DDR4 Mushkin Redline 3000Mhz (2x16gb) for a ryzen 7 1700?

rahul sai says:

There is a $100 price drop on G.Skill V series DDR4 3000mhz,
i am planning on getting the Ryzen 7 1700X with a Asus Prime X370 pro motherboard. Can i buy the 3000hmz and make it work with Ryzen 7 1700 by overclocking it upto 2933hmz???
Please help! I am new to this stuff

Christian Perez says:

fuck… I got 3000 mhz ram…

Sebastien Legoute says:

I bought the g skill ripjaws V ram(2800) for an Intel build but switched over to a ryzen build. should the ram I have still work or should I buy a different set?

TheCgOrion says:

On my R7 Cinebench went from 107 to 130 in OpenGL, only tightening the timings, while leaving the GPU, CPU, and Ram frequency the same. So yeah, Ryzen responds well to high frequency with tight timings. Raising the CPU 50Mhz only increased it 3 fps, so timings being tightened equaled close to a 400Mhz overclock. My system is faster at 3.9Ghz 3200 14-14-14-34-48 GDM Off, than it was at 4.1Ghz and 3200 w/auto timings. At 4.1 the IMC couldn’t handle GDM off without too much SOC voltage. Well, too much for my tastes.

JakkeH says:

Do i have to worry alot about what ram (that my motherboard supports) if i get 2400mhz and ram that is supported by ryzen? Im really confused by my motherboards ram support list (im getting the gigabyte ga-ab350n-gaming wifi)

Should i attempt to overclock my ram(2×8 g skill 2400) to somewhere below 2667? My mother board can support higher frequencies than that though. Im just a newbie who had ddr3 for the longest time.

joey rosenbaum says:

So my question is this. Would using a generic ddr4 ram work? Like stock base speed no heat spreader. The kind that ships with non gaming prebuilts

junabar lala says:

i have 2 4gb 3200 mhz ram is that bad or good??

Jsj sjksk says:

Im going to buy ryzen 5-1400, do i need to buy 16gb ram if i only play probably?

I would like to build a machine with 64GB of RAM (4x16GB) on an Asus Crosshair VI Extreme.
Any suggestion on the DIMM’s required to get it done?

roger gonzalez says:

It’s doesn’t show the memory stick/ram that is compatible for the Prime B350-PLUS does anyone know? The ram that is compatible for this motherboard

Bitcoin4Life says:

Please do a new one showing 3466 and 3600mt/s showing the steps you took to achieve those clocks, preferably on the C6H. Please also show the increased power consumption by the CPU while running ultra high memory speeds. It looks to me like the CPU consumes 1-2 watts more going from 2933 to 3328 memory speed. Thanks I love your videos

warmfreeze says:

the real question is…. why does ram cost almost as much as my CPU and more than i payed for an entire motherboard?
