Ioganstone says:

i like the super pi test, reliable

traingp7 says:

Those are shitty latency timings at 1600 mhz. I have 8 gb’s of DOMINATOR GT 2000 mhz memory running at 1600 with 666 18 timings stable with no problems. Got both kits for less than 400 bucks too.

Brian0D says:

PCwizKid have you test this memory : 4GB-Kit G-Skill RipJaws PC3-12800U CL9 ?
and why have my memory 4GB-Kit G-Skill RipJaws PC3-12800U CL9 on the desktop 533.3 mhz and 7-7-7-20 ? Norm.= 9-9-9-24 !

TearsOfWar1 says:

I need your help PCWizKid! What is better for games? Faster CAS latency or higher operating frequency? What about for casual use?

boris smidt says:

@TearsOfWar1 i know but ddr3 is faster but i”m just telling you that you do not need to worry about the speed of the ram as long as it is above 1ghz and 4gb or more of it than you are good i’ve seen some benchmarks where you clearly saw that the ram didn’t give a lot of performance increase
but the bandwidth will increase a lot more if you fill your 4(amd) or 6(intel) slots instead of 1/2 of the total slot

Alex148710 says:

@TearsOfWar1 I don’t think you’d see any difference in games.. CPU & graphics card matter the most

arxrs says:

No, 4×1 GB is still dual channel. I’d go with 2×2 GB just so you have two more slots for expansion. There should also be less stress on the memory controller as well.

kalloused says:

@PCWizKid Can you run 4 sticks of this or just the 3? My father in law got three with a DIY I made for him, one of the sticks is bad and he wants to upgrade to 4. The fact that they are sold in packs of three and not individually makes me wonder if there is a problem with running 4 at a time?

Johnfreemanwepon says:

@BassPounderX has to be a self built system with an overclocking (e.g rampage 3) motherboard, otherwise the sellers block out those options

ougbj ikjlk says:

do you really need any more than 4gb?

wingscancer says:

@TearsOfWar1 ddr3 is the new thing dd2 is old

NetGenReviews says:

I have the OCZ DDR3 1600 CL 8-8-8-24 😀 Works awesome so far 😀 Had it for about 3 months.

itchi906 says:

Hey PcWizKid do you know how to get a free vista CD from Microsoft new and all?

ehab ezat says:

what do u think about kingstion hyperx 2gb cl9 1600 bus single or CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 Dual Channel Kit Model CMX4GX3M2A1600C9
unfortunately those med rams only available in my country

ComputerTechTV says:

Great vid once again!

helloimclaudio says:

@BenThomasFoster He doesn’t give it to you…lol

Zillerz3 says:

@flamegrilled123 then why are you one year older in youtube

Hans611 says:

@askixx idk but they were selling 3.4ghz Pentium 4s in 2004 so, maybe 2003?

Hoktomaster says:

They look like harmonicas.

Hans611 says:

i wanted to buy this, PCwizkid thanks for the review, i am on the market for a 2000+ ddr3 kit 🙂 perfect timing for the review, this will seriously sway my opinion xD

Colorfusion1 says:

Cool review!

@flamegrilled123 First comment is just kind of spam

TearsOfWar1 says:

@themassau there is 1ghz DDR2 memory.

danthaman7777 says:

cl10 🙁

forthhokage444 says:

@gazzxr make sure you have an i7 they are the only company that uses triple channel memory right now 🙂

Hans611 says:

@askixx when was 4ghz first hit? O.o

gazzxr says:

@PCWizKid I’m buying a gaming rig under a budget , ( 350$ ) I got myself ATi 5770 , AMD Phenom II X4 655 BE , GIGABYTE motherboard , but i have a problem , i’m looking for good memory ( i can spend more than 80$ on 12 GB ) But i don’t know if this is good RAM , OCZ Gold DDR3 , I’m a gamer , so do you think it will be good for gaming?

forthhokage444 says:

@gazzxr yes I’m building one as well with the same graphic card but in crossfire

Zillerz3 says:

@flamegrilled123 then ur a kid

Azure Gearsts says:

@CapitalGamer lol

TiMe4FiGhT says:

Dam It would be soo nice to have a 980X…

Manhattan says:

That’s something you don’t see everyday. Lol

arxrs says:

88824 = 8-8-8-24
These are memory timings, and how long it takes for the RAM to relate info. back to the motherboard and CPU.

Hans611 says:

@MaCnRYdER refresh?

boris smidt says:

@TearsOfWar1 i read that the ram didn’t make that much of a diference ingame as long as it was ddr3 and above 1ghz(1000mhz) the gpu and the gpu makes more difference than ram and if you have trippel chanel than it doesn’t make a lot of sense at all

Alsetalokin says:

how much do your pc cost (with everything included)?

Plaster says:

my father have 2 of these but i have better I think D: mine are from G.SKILL dual 4 Gb

Pucker7 says:

ive got the 1600 version its really good 😀

Mitchel John says:

@Hittman305 depends on your motherboard , some MB support 1333 and some others 1600.

manhunt48 says:

latency on this ram is disgusting.

TearsOfWar1 says:

What is better for gaming? DDR2 or DDR3? DDR2 is faster so that’s why I ask.

BlueBlastify says:

Mate 🙂 about the subscribing, I had you subscribed on my last account. You were one of the first I resubscribed on this one 😉

you are doing a very good job, I enjoy your vids 🙂 my teacher asked for tip links on IT. I’m going to this IT school, and he sends these links to all the students, and I sent your youtube channel, he gave me cred for it ;P haha thanks 😀

Minura Iddamalgoda says:

@LLOYD19851012 its hex something, hence the 6 core cpus also being called hexa core cpu’s. hexagons also have 6 sides

NelizMastr - Tech for PC & Mac says:

w00t, awesome stuff

TearsOfWar1 says:

@kylepolansky I meant how DDR2 is way faster in CAS latency. Does CAS latency matter in games?
