Leopold Mechanical Keyboard Review

There are lots of options for mechanical keyboards these days — so how does this 80% board from Leopold stack up?

CompuTech says:

I love the colors. Reminds me a little bit of IBM’s Black and Lilac color scheme. But I am very happy with my Packard Bell keyboard, That I got at the Good Will yesterday for 5 bucks. I would love to have a model M though.

Alin Banc says:

I thought I was the only one having this keyboard 🙂 I have the white one, and blue and gray anniversary edition keycaps – dye sublimated PBT.

SbI29 says:

I can’t for the life of me justify spending more than $20 on a keyboard

NefariousFox says:

I highly recommend getting a set of O-rings to set the travel to a really tight attack.

Shugo Takahashi says:

Seems kinda basic for that price. You can get slightly fancier ones for less or around the same price, like the tried and true Corsair keyboards.

I’ll stick with my IBM Model M for now, though.

cicada says:

It seems like this was a sponsored video. Sorry, but this keyboard isn’t a good price to quality ratio. It’s a white-label mass-produced keyboard, which is very generic and readily available on Amazon for half the cost.

Nicholas Wilson says:

I do get the appeal of mechanical keyboards, especially if you’re doing a lot of typing, for example if you’re writing scripts for your YouTube channel on top of everything else you have to do in a day but personally I just can’t justify the cost over a cheap keyboard that will do the job for 1/5 the price.

John McBride says:

Is that how you type? With three fingers? You need a typing class

Ted Clayton says:

No number pad…

Pixelated says:

I think you’d love a Topre board, might be worth looking into local mechanical keyboard meetups that go on lots of different boards to try 🙂

Ken Murawski says:

Love mechanical keyboards. That one is simply beautiful.

DrunkASMR says:

‘pad to soften the sound of the keys’ IM OUT

Yesica1993 says:

I don’t know exactly what “mechanical keyboard” means.
Aw, I miss clickety keyboards!
Also, where can you find that little tool that you used to remove the keys? I wouldn’t mind trying that, just to clean my keyboard. I can’t stand how nasty keyboards can get. I don’t eat over it, I clean/brush it out almost daily, and even cover it with a scarf when I’m not using it. It somehow still gets crap in there!

Drake Hatfield says:

Thank you for this video. You covered everything I was curious about.

IceMario865 says:

MX Greens are my favs. Gives the user HULK fingers
