I have used a lot of mechanical keyboards and I have to say the build quality and feel of the dasKeyboard Pro 4 is a cut above the rest. Just watch this video and see what I mean!

I am a huge fan of Das Keyboard’s I have 4 of them already in my collection so Das Keyboard was nice enough to send me this Das Keyboard 4 Professional which is their newest design that ships this month! It’s rare for me to get to review something before it’s available to the general public and I could not be more impressed with the keyboard. It’s about as solid as you can get with a keyboard and I would feel confident using this all day long every single day. I recently reviewed a Cooler Master CMStorm Mech keyboard which was also a very nice keyboard and had some features more targeted at gamers and I did love that keyboard and use it on my edit box for the macro capabilities but given the choice I would use the Das Keyboard for day to day operations on my main machine since it just feels more solid and familiar to me and every little key click gives me a bit of joy.

I have one: the keycaps are really cheap, and the characters are not laser-etched. Also, I have to now put rubbing alcohol into various switches, since they are exhibiting chattering.
The way you rest it on the wire in 5:37 makes me cringe
My Steelkeys6Gv1(YES! The first one) Won’t DIE…and I can live with that 🙂
“aluminium” and very heavy doesn’t exactly resonate with me 😀
i learn a lot from your videos <3
404 good keycaps not found
My speed is currently 20 wpm lol, but my sidekick goes from floor to face in less than a second. I am getting this keyboard right now. I want to get to 100 wpm.
Do one of those with an angled set of keys, that whole ‘natural’ thing, and I would so be on board for that! Just.. I’m so used to a natural style keyboard that something of that style would just hurt my hands far too much. Great review though! Keep ’em comin!
Dude, making tests on keyboard’s typing performances with only ONE person (you) and only 3-5 demonstrations, doesn’t, unfortunaltely, tell anything about a specific keyboard!
You’re a good Youtuber though 🙂
if i buy this can i beat people more often on type racer???
Hello
You thought to draw a version for Spain. A qwerty keyboard in Spanish
Thank you. We also want to feel that sensation of the keyboards gives.
It sounds like his saying DOS
two years ago i might have bought this. Now I think it really misses a usb c port and isnt worth it for the price. Also, the ‘cloud connected’ version of this product is ridiculous. edit: still bought it, there doesn’t seem to be anything better yet. There’s still a lot to wish for in a keyboard and this keyboard seemed to satisfy my wishes the best. in fact, this is the only usb 3.0 hub keyboard i could find.
send me a keyboard? I’m too poor, here I am typing with some half dollar worth chinese keyboard
April 1st?
I like this guy! Thanks for the thorough review.
man this dude can type
Hey Jerry do you think the epic Dos Keyboard is a good Keyboard for someone who is still learning how to type
precision german engineering
what is his rank in csgo? is he at least smfc?
no backlight and unbraided cable just cant
Great review! Thnx for the info 😉
Am I missing something? I don’t understand what’s so important to have a metal keyboard. I have literally never seen a keyboard broken because it wasn’t made of aluminum or steel. Also that may be nice that the stand on the back goes the whole length of the keyboard but it won’t help if you’re a college student and just have a junk desk like I do that isn’t completely flat.
Gaming keyboard?
Too flat, even with the magnet ruler thing. Couldn’t work with that.
Hahahaha
Mechanical Keyboards r overrated and should stay in the 80’s
I’d much rather have the K70 RGB for that high price
christ on a cracker you type so much faster than I do.
Das Prime 13 is the best ever.
He said he thinks its stylish but instead write “Styish”
my goal in life is to type like this guy
The cable is 6.6 feet. You know what else is 6.6 feet?
needs pbt keycaps!!!
Would this be good for typing all day? I want a lighter touch to help finger pain
could have been perfect with backlighting, wristrest and braided cable.
You have a message on Skype and Steam…
Nkey roll over causes some pcs not to boot
I ment Das
Do people here know at all what “Das” means?
“The”, that’s it.
No macros
No backlighting
No braided cable
What in the hell is there extra premium money going to??? There’s keyboards with the same cherry MX switches that come with macros or backlighting or hell even the same damn thing but way less and still made of metal and plastic. Where’s the extra money for this one going to?
Das keyboard is utter garbage
what a fucking shill
“das” is german and means “the”. So the company name is “the keyboard”
