Ordered a 4TB WD blue for storage/archive drive use

Black Desert says:

why are the bigger TB drives faster?

Ichwan HP says:

why not for firecuda?

austin B says:

the Seagate BarraCuda is faster than the wd black and wd blue its only the 4tb BarraCuda that is the slowest the 1, 2 and 3tb are faster its weird that the 4tb is in between the 1,2,3tb and pro bc its the slowest one bc it does not hit 7200rpm its a great video but if anyone need’s a new hard drive with 1, 2 and 3tb’s go with the Seagate BarraCuda u can look up test’s on the speeds there faster then the wd blue and black at those TB’s

Jeff Merheb says:

I don’t know what to buy, should I get the WD Blue or Barracuda for gaming? (I will get the 2 or 3TB version) , I also heard WD Blue is more reliable or the new Seagate Barracuda series (2016) are reliable?

SuperWolf1964 says:

Seagate still has a bad reputation – so I’ll stick with WD.

daghrb6 says:

The HGST NAS hard drives are the best according to a big server survey that showed the failure rates..
Speed don’t matter to me on mechanical drives after I’ve had 2 external WD and 3 internal Seagate fail after 1 to 5 years.
