Why should you get a core i3 8100 if you can get a hexa core ryzen 5

Bridger Reif Hammond says:

Why not test the Ryzen 5 2400g with no gpu? If you’re going to compare a Pentium Gold + 1050 vs R 3 2200g, you should mention the 2400g

Splicer FS says:

Wait i have the same Pentium processor with a 1050 and 8gbs of ddr4 mem but my gta map wont even load

DDG YouTube says:

So I’m new to the pic community coming from streaming through Xbox I’m getting a pc for Christmas that has: AMD FX-Series – 8GB Memory- AMD Radeon RX 560 – 1TB Hard drive. Do I have to get a new motherboard with the AMD 2200G CPU? Or am I able to just switch them out since I want to stream

If I buy the r 3 2200g and use graphic card, will it boost the performance ??

So the i3 8100 is best

good video , bad conculsion!
nobody will ever pair these cpus with 1080ti so a 1050 or 1050ti would be more realistic , and Then ryzen clearly wins.
bcz of the price , the very good stock cooler , upgradability of amd platform , oc and many more …

I have g4560 with rx 470 nitro+ version ,still working very well for the price ,but I do feel if I had a better CPU it would have been way better . Great for 1 task ,not for multitask. My main problem is my mother board is 7th gen,if it wasn’t I would have upgraded my cpu.

underestimated kid says:

In my case g4560 is worse than g5400 as they are just 1 dollar apart

Tiago Beça says:

So basically if you need gaming for cheapest, get the ryzen, CPU + graphics + cooler. If you just need the processing power for cheap, the i3 is better (virtualization etc). Is this right?

Best answer: 50$ i5-3570k with a used 150$ gtx 1060 ; p

Christian's Personal Account says:

2200G for me. Sure it isn’t as fast as the i3 8100 but I would much rather stick to close performance for $20 cheaper. Also the upgrade path of ryzen for cheap makes me always go with ryzen every time.

underestimated kid says:

4:56 says Pentium shows i3

Kyle's Art says:

Can u oc ryzen 3 2200g? If u did that the i3 8100 and the ryzen 3 2200g will just be equal right?
