Xaltar says:

I am looking forward to the Ryzen APUs, with the GPU market in shambles atm AMD has a huge opportunity here to snap up the “budget” gaming crown with the R5/R3 APUs and their integrated graphics capabilities. If they can achieve GTX 1050 like performance we will see a lot of APU builds taking advantage of this. Indicators are good that they will at least perform better than the RX 550 and GT 1030 but time will tell.

I thought the i5 8400 has a base clockspeed of 2.8 ghz? But a lot of people are claiming it clockspeed is 3.6 ghz

GodyArtDesign says:

thank you for Video. Atm im look for new stuff. i was waiting near 6 months for i5-8400. And today I read about i3-8300. I think this one is very good for cs.go and allround PC for low money. ~700€. On CS.GO work only 4 threads, and Source Engine use more CPU as GPU. So I will just wait 2-3 weeks for i3-8300 and a H370 Board.
…btw atm i use my old i7-920 since 8 years, its ok, but to much watt. I like save engine PC with much power. And looking for the best Power on CPU 65watt & GPU 65Watt. So the biggest PC Power you can get on ~130Watt. Save the World Peace out. Greez from germany, Cool Channel.

Or you could just wait for 2 months and get Ryzen +/2 which will be more stable, have less RAM issues and higher overclocks…

no love for my 8600k :’C

MrMalditor says:

I’m going 8700k just because I don’t plan on doing any upgrades for at least 4 or 5 years and it will hold up much better than any of the other cpus on this list. @339 for 6/12 ~5 ghz…. Yeah, no brainer for build for the long haul.

Also, Do amd have incompatibility problems with some or all these programs and which one give me a better performance? Thanks in advance any help really appreciated.

Brendan Weir says:

Just wondering what sort of cpu and board would be kick ass for processing raw photos in photoshop ….i just killed another computer that was amd powered with 3.5ghz 8 core processor..and it was getting real slow processing 300-400 images at at time so longevity and performance is key.. found my old system was struggling for processing power and was working its backside off trying to keep up

BlazingFTW says:

Thanks I’m getting a ryzen 5 1600 for my new pc I would wait but a need one ASAP so I’m going with that and a gtx 1070
