The GTX 1660 Ti releases today, at time of publication, and most directly succeeds the GTX 1060 6GB. The card competes with the RX 590 and RX Vega 56, falling below the RTX 2060 in performance. The 1660 Ti also gets rid of the RTX features and RT / Tensor cores, which assists in price positioning.

Cards tested include the RTX 2060, GTX 1660 Ti vs. GTX 980 Ti, GTX 970, RX Vega 56, GTX 1060, and many, many more.

Check out the TOP 5 best GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Cards available right now: https://youtu.be/UfJAEA9uiG0 .

Der Henker says:

This is the most useless Card NVIDIA ever released… price up to 300€ in Europe, Same price as the 1070 atm but the 1660Ti is slower. Vega 56 Card is about 290€ and faster as a 1070 Ti… so knock knock: Who is there??? AMD B****

Ulysses strange says:

“NVIDIA’s newest GPU in the ~$280 market”. Found the GIGABYTE GTX 1660 Ti WINDFORCE OC 6G for *398,99€
* Ain’t that a bargain???
Also for 20 to 70 more you can get a RTX 2060.

RTFinley says:

What’s the model of Gigabyte Card in the video?

L L says:

Thanks for the testing and I like them. I hope you can do the benchmark testing with Overwatch game (One of the most popular e-sport 3d FPS game in Twitch). And I also hope that you can include some comparison with SLI gtx 1080 as well. I believe these tests will make your Review videos more complete and make them stand out comparing with those from other youtubers.

Valkyrix says:

the msi air boost vega 56 is £280 in the uk, exactly the same as the 1660 ti so im not sure which to get…

SidTheJerkNSFW says:

I get higher fps with my 1060 3gb on mostly high settings

Slime says:

GTX 2050 ti looks pretty good

CrazyCrave says:

Nvidia is getting murdered under $200 as 1060 3Gb was the victim and 2060 is a scaled down 2070 as it shows now the effort they have made to stop RX sales as there hardware just cost to much to compete under $200 with 8Gb of memory .

Brax Atikus says:

Hey are these 1660ti Freesync compatible?

mazedmarky says:

4K PacMan, lol.

Sizniche says:

inb4 GTX 1776 ti

schlafanzyk says:

Nvidia should get a big consumer protection lawsuit for this idiotic naming scheme. And this is coming from someone who has bought nothing but Nvidia since I sold my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, which I believe was still an AGP card.

hokayuuu777 says:

I love how you get really technical in your explanations. subbed!

ClutchUpCody says:

1660ti is probably an inside dirty joke. Its a ridiculous name…

Patrick Winn says:

NVDA just killed it. Bow down to the corporate glory you whiny bitches.

dr. whet farts says:

vega 56 killer.

Ghost Acez says:

I love how people keep saying “Vega 56 at $280 is a great value” and then trash on the 1660 ti. They are within a couple percentage points different in performance for each other. The real difference? Vega 56 is not going to be $280 anytime soon in the states. It was for one shitty blower fan card that crashed some in games. The cheapest you’re getting one easily right now is $350 for a refurbished one. Maybe slightly cheaper on sale for a new one if you’re lucky. Might as well get a RTX 2060 at that point. So the 1660 ti is a much better value than the Vega 56. Especially where things like power draw are concerned.

Sina Madani says:

Terrible card. Awful value for money. I bought my GTX 1060 6GB on launch day in 2016 for £250 and even to this day still offers similar perf per $. Right now I don’t see why anyone would buy this at that price point. Just get an RX 590 or 580. Much cheaper, great performance, free games. Also it appears there is almost no significant improvement over Pascal clock-for-clock, core-for-core.

Sibti ali says:

The GTX 1660ti card is definitely gonna be an upgrade for the gtx 1060 laptops while hovering around the same price point.
my question is:
Should i expect an ETA for the gtx 1660ti laptops around mid-march?
*pls halp*

gertjan van der meij says:

Still like the RX590 better , it is down to 259,- , it OC very good , and it has 2 Gb more Vram ! GTX 1660ti is not for me ! Just because Nvidia f*cked us too many times now !
Even the VEGA56 is the better choice at 299,- ! But what ever …. *I’m still on the NAVI train ! have to see that FIRST , before i decide on what new GPU to buy !*

RustRabbit says:

i think most people with the 970 980 1060 will have 1080p monitors 1ms lag 60-100mhz . this card is awesome , them teraflops will help ALOT ,

MatC says:

GTX 1660 Ti IS A GREAT VALUE CARD.

Phuong Nguyen says:

You should compared electricity cost to run them for 1 year.

twitch.tv/enemy85 says:

No reason to get this over a vega 56 at current prices with a 3 game
offer in terms of pure performance, unless you really dont want do a
simple undervolt and overclock, at least in Europe. Depending on the
price and whatever the buyer wants, the 1660ti it´s still a good gpu to
1080p only with low power consumption, specially to non triple AAA games
unless you sacrifice some settings.

Perunapiirakka says:

Really good that this card has the most interesting new features of Turing architecture.
Hopefully mesh shaders and others will see usage in future. (This should at least help a bit on amount of users which it would be helpful.)

PrinceSupra says:

Can you test some rendering applications like Blender? , i would like how it stacks up against AMD offerings.

Newtype 0085 says:

Why would GPU performance have any affect on hitboxes??

Dhars says:

Why only single fan? Wtf, because fuck cooling.

David Davidsonn says:

EVGA video, sponsor is gigabyte
the absolute madman

Omizuke says:

I’m not sold at the price. With it been 25% less performance for 25% less cost. Well yes and no. Because it is less performance and less parts. So the RTX doesn’t really have a value? If we go performance per dollar it doesn’t. Pay X plus and you get X plus performance, and as a bonus we throw RTX cores for free. Removing the RTX is not how they are lowering the performance, since RTX doesn’t help there. It’s a less powerful GPU that give us less performance. They just also removed RTX while they’re at it. For all we know the price cut could also be achieve simply by removing the RTX and leaving the same GPU power. (Of course they wouldn’t do that so the 1660 don’t cannibalize the 2060) I’m not sure I can properly make my point but I don’t think performance per dollar should scale 1:1 ratio in this case since they are also removing the RTX. This card will make them more money than the 2060 for sure base on cost.

mkd1r says:

Why is the GTX1070 missing in 2/3 of the benchmarks? If there is ONE card you want to compare it to… what would it be? Yes?

Antony M says:

So a 1070 in the price of 280$……I see..!!!

قناة قبيا Qibya Channel says:

Is it vr ready like gtx 1060?

Zerviscos says:

To think, we have come so far where a card like the Titan Maxwell costing an upwards $1000 would be reduced to a mere $280~$300 in a form of a single-fan card in just mere 5 years or so.

D- Nice says:

So if price is a problem, is the 1660 TI better than the 1070?????

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Windforce OC 6G 192-bit GDDR6 DisplayPort 1.4 HDMI 2.0B with Windforce 2X Cooling System Graphic Cards- Gv-N166TWF2OC-6GD

$289.99

VS

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming ACX 3.0 Black Edition Graphic Cards (08G-P4-5171-KR)
$449.00

Eduardo Alvarez says:

so should I still use my gtx 970 sc?? I mean cs go and battlefield still play good on 1080p high settings.
