AMD’s Ryzen processors have been earning a great reputation for their processors: the Ryzen 3, 5, and 7. We’ve ran the tests, set their benchmarks, and can provide what Ryzen processor will best suit your needs.
We found that the Ryzen 7 encoded video and compressed files faster than its siblings, but we found that performance in video games didn’t see huge decreases in performance between the 7 and 5. That’s great news for people looking for a processor for a mid-range, higher end gaming PC and makes it simple to figure out your AMD Ryzen processor purchase.
Looking for a budget gaming PC? Get the Ryzen 3. Wanting a high end to mid-range gaming system? Buy the Ryzen 5. Need a work station? Then you want the Ryzen 7.
