João Martin says:

Great video! I have a question. I own an evga nex750b psu, one with multiple 12v rails and after doing some research I’ve seen a lot of people saying to avoid it. I’m running an ryzen 7 1700 and gtx 1070 in my system, should I consider getting a higher quality psu to be safe?

Agustinus Alvin says:

even if i only use 1 graphic card, i will pick at least 600w, im now using corsair CX550M. Why? My FX-8350 and RX 480 will need more than 500W if u overclock it. Also a bit 50W headroom is good for future proof.

Alexander Verso says:

you Should Buy only EVGA SuperNova G3 !

Morgan Grossman says:

No discussion on power quality? No mention of single vs dual rail? You know there’s more reason other than just warranty to buy a G2 or G3 model (which actually sell for closer to $80-90) right? For one thing the quality of power delivery is much higher than on the NEX/G1 line units with better regulation, cooler temperatures, better ripple suppression and lower noise (even fanless modes).

Chino Mercado says:

because of this video, i bought a evga 650w g2. pretty satisfied with it, than my old cougar 600w.

Knight Master says:

C Rom says:

So, I’m creating my first build and I know for a fact that I will only be getting and using one video card. With that, it would be obvious to get the 500 watt power supply, but the question I have is whether I have to get the 600 watt power supply since I’m planning to overclock the Ryzen CPU that i am going to buy. Does overclocking a CPU increase the power intake by a lot that I’ll need the 600 watt power supply, or is the 500 watt supply enough for such a task. I know this was long post, but I really need some help with this. Thanks. 🙂

Reimosk says:

what powersupply do i need if i have a gtx 1080 windforce g1 oc video card?

Santiago Ferrari says:

In my opinion, if you an afford it, get a 80 plus gold. 600 or 650 Watts, since they have the less overhead, they generate less heat, and last longer.

drekoll says:

ElZamo92 says:

I bought a Corsair RM750 about three years ago for my first build, which had a g3258 and a GTX 960. It is now inside my new Ryzen 7 build, which has an overclocked R7 1700, two overclocked GTX 1070s, two hard drives, two SSDs, two sticks of overclocked ram, 6 fans, an AIO water pump, and an LED strip. IMHO, the PSU is the only thing you can future proof, so I’d suggest you buy a 650 to 800 watt psu and you will be golden for any upgrades you might make in the future, and if you get a PSU with a 0RPM mode you willmost likely run it with the fan turned off most of the time, even when gaming.

MD Sagor says:

Thank you so much uncle
